Job Responsibilities

• Directs cost accounting and inventory valuation processes to ensure accurate financial reporting across U.S. operations.

• Oversees COGS accounting, inventory reconciliations, month-end close activities, and alignment with corporate policies.

• Leads cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights, optimize cost structures, and support operational strategies.

• Enhances cost planning, inventory control procedures, and reporting to meet internal standards and industry best practices.

• Manages calculation of duties, tariffs, and overhead rates to ensure accurate cost allocations and compliance.

• Partners with operations leadership on cycle count execution, discrepancy resolution, and inventory accuracy.

• Leads and develops a team of cost accountants and inventory control personnel, driving performance and accountability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

• 7–10 years of accounting experience in manufacturing or audit of manufacturing clients

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing accounting teams, including performance development

• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)

• Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with operations and manufacturing
