Summary:
As a vital member of our Accounting and Finance team, you will:

Audit and SOX Compliance (35%): Manage and oversee the controls assessment process, ensuring SOX compliance. Review SOX testing and deliverables.
SEC Reporting (15%): Participate in the composition, review, and tie-out of SEC filings.
Internal Reporting Support (10%): Assist with internal reporting, including flux analysis, reconciliations, and supporting control operations.
Investor Relations (15%): Support investor relations activities, including managing projections and preparing materials.
Technical Accounting (15%): Conduct technical accounting research, prepare memos, and assist with the adoption of new standards.
Other Responsibilities (10%): Engage in special projects and process improvements, provide mentorship to an analyst, and contribute to various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead audits and SOX compliance efforts, including the oversight of control assessments and testing.
Assist in preparing SEC filings, including footnotes and disclosure checklists.
Support internal reporting functions, including managing projections and reconciliations for intangible assets and derivatives.
Help with investor relations, including conference coordination and material preparation.
Engage in technical accounting tasks and stay updated with new accounting standards.
Exhibit strong communication skills and interact effectively with all levels of the company, including executives.
Drive process improvements and demonstrate leadership in guiding and mentoring team members.
Be open to executive exposure, including potential cold calls from the Controller or CFO.

Experience Level:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
3+ years of accounting/auditing experience, preferably with a Big 4 or large regional firm.
Experience with public company clients; manufacturing experience is a plus.
