Job Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze organization's transactions to determine suitable GAAP treatment; include any relevant conclusions of treatment to present to executive leadership
• Stay up-to-date on GAAP and IFRS regulations and communicate any changes to leadership
• Assist in completion of necessary SEC filings
• Analyze contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment is implemented
• Help evaluate exposure drafts of new accounting regulations/requests for comments on behalf of the organization
• Collaborate with auditors to prepare reports and documents related to any accounting issues

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant
• 10 or more years of experience in accounting, technical accounting, and external reporting at public company, preferably in the financial services industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAP, SEC, IFRS, etc.
