Job Summary:
This position will assist the international tax team by analyzing and coordinating international tax matters related to financial statement tax calculations and disclosures, and the related US tax reporting of foreign operations. Responsibilities include data gathering for GILTI, FDII, QBAI, and BEAT for the US tax return and assisting with Pillar 2 and transfer pricing information. The role serves as a contact for non-US entities regarding tax matters as part of the corporate tax consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare quarterly/annual income tax provision calculations and deferred tax balances for foreign entities using CorpTAX.
  • Prepare and review US reporting forms for foreign operations, including forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 5713, and FBAR.
  • Maintain and update cumulative E&P schedules and perform Sub-part F calculations for foreign subsidiaries.
  • Monitor and reconcile deferred tax balances between statutory books and CorpTAX; interact with local accounting/finance teams as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of tax provision amounts and differences from international tax return filings.
  • Assist with accrual for uncertain tax positions (FIN 48) and related documentation, ensuring 404 SOX compliance.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws affecting calculations, and assist with international aspects of domestic audits.
  • Support transfer pricing reporting and monitor compliance with OECD initiatives such as Country by Country reports, Master File, and Pillar 2.
  • Collaborate with local accounting and tax advisors for foreign subsidiary compliance and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Conduct tax research, provide modeling and solutions, and assist with policy documentation and automation efforts.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
  • Minimum of 3-7 years of professional tax experience, preferably in big four public accounting or a large multinational company environment.
  • CPA or Master’s degree is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with electronic spreadsheets.
  • Understanding of ASC 740 and US GAAP concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of international and federal income tax.
  • Flexibility and ability to multitask while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CorpTAX and Hyperion software preferred.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
