Accounting Operations Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Remote 

• Oversee month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Review journal entries and financial analyses for accuracy.
• Analyze capital expenditures and variances from budget/forecast.
• Support SEC reporting, disclosures, and technical accounting research.
• Assess accounting treatment for acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Assist with business valuations and financial modeling.
• Identify process improvements and standardize reporting procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in energy or public accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with financial reporting, technical accounting, and transaction support.
