American Association of Finance and Accounting (AAFA) Annual Conference
May 7-10 | Santa Monica, California
On May 7th, Pinnacle’s partners traveled to Santa Monica, California for 3 days of networking and education with our 40+ affiliate offices from across the United States and Canada. This year’s three-day event provided an in-depth look into how accounting and finance recruiting is changing and explored avenues to improve our services for both the hiring managers and candidates we work with on a day to day basis.
Of course, there was some fun involved too. Check out pictures from this year’s event and make sure to reach out to us if you are considering expanding your search for qualified accounting and finance talent!
Did you know Pinnacle is the sole Pittsburgh Affiliate of a national accounting and finance recruiting network? The American Association of Finance and Accounting works with over 40 affiliates across the United States and Canada to deliver unprecedented access to an international professional network of accounting and finance professionals and job opportunities. Pinnacle Volunteers at St. Jude’s Pittsburgh Gala
May 13 | Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh
As a locally-owned, Pittsburgh-based company, the employees of Pinnacle are constantly looking for ways to not only promote our city as a great place to live and work, but to also give back to our community. Last Saturday, Pinnacle received the opportunity to volunteer at the St. Jude’s Pittsburgh Gala. It was an honor to receive a chance to give back to an organization which does so much for those children who are faced with a battle no child should have to go through. Thank you to all those who came out and donated at the event and make sure to mark your calendars for the 2018 Pittsburgh St. Jude’s Gala on April 21, 2018!
Pinnacle’s Spring Client Appreciation Event at PNC Park
May 18 | PNC Park, Pittsburgh
On May 18, Pinnacle held it’s 5th Client Appreciation Event at PNC Park to thank all those who have helped us to achieve so much over the past few years. It was a great afternoon watching the Pirates crush the Washington Nationals 10-4. Thank you, again, for all those who came out. We are privileged to help you with your day to day accounting and finance talent needs.
Links to a Cure – Cystic Fibrosis Golf Outing
May 22 | Diamond Run Golf Club
Pinnacle’s very-own Ryan Giblock spent a day on the green raising money for a good cause this past month. Jessica Kosty, one of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest 2017 class, hosted Links to a Cure to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research, medical, and educational programs. All proceeds were donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Pinnacle Volunteers at IIA-Pittsburgh Chapter’s 2017 Fraud & Corruption Awareness Seminar
May 23 | Doubletree by Hilton – Greentree
Several Pinnacle employees made their way to the IIA-Pittsburgh Chapter’s 2017 Fraud & Corruption Awareness Seminar this past month. If you work within Internal Audit and are seeking to get more involved in the Pittsburgh accounting community, this is a great organization to stay on top of leading changes in audit and network yourself.
Classy Thursdays Return!
Every Other Thursday | Pinnacle Consulting & Recruiting HQ
Classy Thursdays have returned to Pinnacle! You may be asking yourself, “What in the heck are classy Thursdays?” At Pinnacle, we firmly believe that happy employees result in happy clients and candidates. We couldn’t do it without our team. To thank them for their continued efforts, every other Thursday throughout the summer we will be bouncing out of the office slightly early to celebrate our employees’ hard work and dedication. To kick-start the Classy Thursday, Pinnacle celebrated with a Luau. What’s better than pineapple-flavored beverages, Mai Tai’s (non-alcoholic of course), and some bocce fun. These are Pinnacle values.
