Celebrating 13 Years: A Letter from our CEO

Dear Pinnacle Team, Clients and Candidates,

This letter marks the 13th anniversary of Pinnacle, a company that I was privileged to help establish. The initial ambition was not grandiose; I simply wanted to create a job that would allow me to work with clients in a manner that reflected my value system. Thirteen years later, Pinnacle has grown into an award-winning firm, supporting businesses and professionals across Pittsburgh’s leading industries.

This journey has been remarkable. We have built a team that feels like family and established meaningful relationships with business leaders across the region.

Among the key milestones that we have achieved together, quite a few stand out:

• Signing our first client was a testament to the viability of our idea.
• Hiring our first employee showed that there were others who believed in ethical, people-first recruitment.
• Building a true consulting services offering enabled us to step up for our clients like never before.
• Expanding into IT consulting and recruiting, and starting our CFO Search Group, have helped us keep pace with the changing needs of our growing client base.
• Expanding into the Cleveland market will allow us to bring our best-in-class accounting & finance consulting services to a much broader set of clients.
• As we look at the opportunities this market presents, I am confident that we’re only in the early stages of our geographic expansion.

The recruiting industry has undergone significant changes over the past decade, the most radical being the shift towards hybrid work models. But what hasn’t changed is the fact that treating people with honesty and integrity helps in building long-lasting relationships.

Reflecting on Pinnacle’s history, I am most grateful for the friendships I have made within and outside our office walls. These relationships bring me immense joy and continue to motivate me as I lead the company. I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you on this 13th anniversary.

Thirteen years into our journey at Pinnacle, we are still finding new ways to reach greater heights. With a dedicated team of professionals working towards a common goal, I am confident that we will continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in consulting and recruitment in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and beyond.
